i actually beat a bear with a boot in AK, it stuck it's snout in a doggy door, when i realized what it was i picked up a boot and hit it in the nose, it pulled it's nose out then stuck it back in, i smacked it again, when it pulled it's nose out the second time i put my hand above the dog door and was gonna grab it's snout when it came back, well i was a little surprised when a big arm came swingin at my face, then it stuck it's snout back in and i hit a home run straight on, heard that sucker spittin gravel for a ways, all the time, the girl i was with at the time was freaking out...it was funny.
